Kathmandu. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has stated that Nepal is currently under the partial influence of the westerly wind system along with local air masses. Due to this influence, there is generally cloudy weather in the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces, and the mountainous region of Bagmati province.
