Young Communist League Begins Temporary Shelter Construction for Flood Victims

Kathmandu. The Young Communist League (YCL), which has been active in flood-affected areas, has started constructing temporary shelters for the victims. Following the devastating flood in the Bhote Koshi and Trishuli rivers on September 10, the YCL had regularly deployed 600 volunteers for rescue and relief work.The YCL was involved in searching for the missing in the affected areas, treating the injured, providing food and essential relief materials, and assisting flood-affected families with food, shelter, and other necessities.
