A three-point agreement has been reached between the Government of Nepal and the victim's family regarding the heinous crime against 3-year-old girl Garima Chaudhary of Jitpur Simara Sub-Metropolitan City-1 in Bara district.The agreement was reached on Saturday evening at the Ministry of Home Affairs between Home Minister Sudhan Gurung, ministers from relevant ministries, the parents of victim girl Garima Chaudhary, and government representatives.As per the agreement, it has been decided to submit a report with suggestions for reviewing the existing legal provisions for punishment and penalties in heinous criminal offenses, in line with public expectations, within seven days.
