Kathmandu. Directors representing the government in state-owned banks have resigned. Chairpersons and directors appointed by the government or who became directors on behalf of the government in the boards of Rastriya Banijya Bank and Agricultural Development Bank have resigned. Rastriya Banijya Bank director Devkumar Dhakal said he submitted his resignation letter on Wednesday itself. He stated that the resignation was given with the objective of supporting the government.
