Kathmandu. Two separate road accidents in Bangladesh on Friday killed 16 people and injured dozens, officials said. Nine people were killed in a road accident when two passenger buses collided with each other around 7:30 AM local time in the Sylhet region, about 240 kilometers northeast of the capital Dhaka, said Sylhet District Police Deputy Superintendent Chowdhury MD Jabir Sadek. According to Police Deputy Superintendent Sadek, eight people died on the spot and one person died during treatment at the hospital while injured.
