Woman Rescued Alive After 11 Days of Flood in Nuwakot

Nuwakot. On the 11th day of the severe flood in the Bhote Koshi river of Rasuwa, 64-year-old Chandika Shrestha was rescued alive today from Anand Shrestha's house in Betrawati Bazaar, Nuwakot. Shrestha, of Bidur Municipality Ward Number 10 in Nuwakot, was rescued by a team led by Armed Police Force, Nepal Police Inspector Suman Bik. During the rescue, Shrestha was found unconscious. After the rescue, she is being brought to the Nepali Army's Maibal Barracks in Trishuli via helicopter. After initial treatment, she will be taken to Kathmandu from Maibal Barracks for further treatment as needed....
