Sankhuwasabha. The District Police Office Sankhuwasabha has arrested a defendant who was convicted in a rape case and was absconding. Police have taken into custody from Sunsari the 28-year-old Tilak alias Akash Rai, who was sentenced by the High Court Biratnagar, Dhankuta Bench on October 9, 2080, to 12 years imprisonment and a compensation of 20,000 rupees.
