Embankment construction has begun in the Gajendra Mokshadham and Susta areas of Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta East) to stop erosion by the Narayani River.According to Dr. Narayan Subedi, Chief of the Irrigation and Water Resources Management Project Office, Bharatpur, the embankment construction has started at an estimated cost of around Rs 17 crore.
