Nepal Bottled Water Association Announces Price Hike Due to Rising Production Costs

Kathmandu. The Nepal Bottled Water Association has decided to adjust (increase) the price of processed drinking water. The association stated that it is no longer possible to operate industries at the previous prices due to a significant rise in raw material costs and increased transportation expenses.In a press release issued today, the association reported that the prices of raw materials used in the water industry, including bottles, caps, wrapping rolls, jars, and jar caps, have increased by approximately 40 percent.
