Iran's Supreme Leader Appoints Mohsen Rezai to Supreme National Security Council

KATHMANDU. Iran's Supreme Leader Mujtaba Khamenei has appointed former IRGC chief Mohsen Rezai as the secretary of the country's highest security post, the 'Supreme National Security Council'. With this appointment, Rezai will also serve as Khamenei's representative in the council.Previously, this post was held by Ali Larijani, who was assassinated in a US-Israeli attack last March.
