Kathmandu. The Supreme Court disposed of 16,634 cases in the last fiscal year.The total caseload, including cases carried over from the previous fiscal year, petitions, and reports, was 40,741, comprising 25,728 carried-over cases and 15,013 newly registered cases in the last fiscal year. The Supreme Court stated that 40.82 percent of these cases were settled.According to Arjun Prasad Koirala, spokesperson for the Supreme Court, the number of cases settled by the Supreme Court increased by 6.69 percent compared to the previous fiscal year.
