Kathmandu. The Inland Revenue Department has brought a new version of the 'Taxpayer Portal' into trial use with the objective of making the services provided to taxpayers easier, simpler, and more effective. The department started this from Tuesday. According to the department's Director General, Dr. Bhishmakumar Bhusal, the old taxpayer portal will continue to operate as usual until the trial of the new portal is successful. The department has stated that this portal has been developed based on the 'design-driven development' method and 'microservice architecture'.
