Kathmandu. The Nepal Securities Board on Tuesday unveiled a 10-year roadmap for capital market development. The Board has brought such an action plan with a vision of what Nepal's capital market will look like in 2036. The roadmap unveiled by the Board aims to increase the market size to more than 150 percent of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in a decade, increase the number of listed companies to over 500, reach a daily trading volume of 30 billion, and increase the number of investors in the market to over 12 million.
