Five dead, 19 injured in Kavre jeep accident

Hari Khatiwada, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the Kavre District Police Office, informed that five people were killed in the accident when a minibus from India with registration no. Actions demanded for misbehaving with health workers

KAVRE, October 1: The Bhumlu Rural Municipality in Kavre district has asked the Kavre District Administration Office to book those involved in misbehaving with its health workers. Health workers from the rural municipality were misbehaved and thrashed from local Anil Pote while giving the second dose of COVID-19 vaccine to the people in Dolalghat. In a complaint filed at the administration office, the rural municipality stated that Assistant Health Worker Hitesh Kumar Mandal was beaten up while vaccinating people at Dulaleshwor Secondary School on Wednesday. Other health workers were also abused. Likewise, Mandal has also lodged an application at the office of the rural municipality seeking action against Mandal for repeatedly threatening him. Chief Administrative Officer of rural municipality Dhakaram Aryal said that action has also been demanded against ward member Manoj Shrestha for tearing up the vaccine's record file. It is said that Shrestha misbehaves with the health workers by piling pressure on them to inoculate the non-prioritised group.
