Mechi Customs Office resumes service
Jhapa, Sept 15: The Mechi Customs Office, which suffered damages during the Gen-Z protest last Tuesday, has resumed its service today. The office activities- regulation of import and export- were disrupted owing to the vandalism and arson. Information Officer at the office, Ishwor Kumar Humagain, informed that the office works were resumed after buying new computer, laptop and other essential to run the office. "There are nothing left safe- neither physical infrastructures nor other items. Fair price shops in Pokhara
Gandaki, Sept 15: Considering the approaching festivals, fair price shops have been opened in Pokhara from today. Chief of Food Management and Trade Company, Gandaki Province Office, Pokhara, Kaushal Ghimire, shared that the fair price shops would be run till October 27, targeting the upcoming festivals—Dashain, Tihar and Chhath. The shops would be open at Province Office, Birauta of Pokhara from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
