Armed Group Abducts 39 Students, 7 Teachers in Nigeria

Kathmandu. In Nigeria's southwestern Oyo state, an armed group has abducted 39 students and 7 teachers from schools. According to officials, the incident occurred last Friday in the Ahoro Asinele area. The attackers targeted one secondary school and two primary schools. The Oyo state chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Elisha Olukayode Ogundiya, said a total of 46 people were abducted. Most of those abducted are children between the ages of two and 16.
