KATHMANDU, Aug 6: The senior Justice of the Supreme Court, Bishwambhar Prasad Shrestha, has been given the responsibility of judiciary as Acting Chief Justice today.
He became the Acting Chief Justice as Chief Justice Hari Krishna Karki got retirement on age limit yesterday.
KATHMANDU, June 8: Acting Chief Justice Harikrishna Karki has reached the Kathmandu District Court amidst the hearing of Fake Bhutanese Refugee case on Thursday. Karki visited the court for necessary information and briefing on the subject of daily administrative matters of the court.
A meeting of the Constitutional Council held this evening has decided to recommend Acting Chief Justice Hari Krishna Karki as the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court (SC).
