The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) announced on Tuesday that it has begun preparations to host Yemen in the first leg of the second stage of the AFC Asia Cup and FIFA World Cup 2026 Joint Qualifiers. Nepal has been placed in Group H of the second round with the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain and Yemen.

KATHMANDU, May 8: The emergency meeting of the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) held on Monday has decided to approve a budget of 678 million 15 thousand 229 rupees for the year 2023 with amendments. An emergency meeting chaired by ANFA Chairman Pankaj Bikram Nembang took the decision.
KATHMANDU, Feb 4: The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has formed an Election Committee to elect the new executive committee from the election which is scheduled to be held on May 29.
The 16th working committee meeting of ANFA held on Thursday constituted a five-member election committee led by advocate Shreeram Dawadi. The other members of the committee include Ram Chandra Gautam, Damodar Bhattarai, Saraswati Shrestha and Preeti Karki. Likewise, Bishnu Luintel led election review committee has been formed with Sudha Rijal, Keshav Mani Aryal, Yagya Bahadur Rana and Rajendra Ingnam as members. Their integrity test would be conducted by a team of ANFA. After the decision, the lists would be sent to FIFA and AFC.
