State Minister Bimala of Lumbini Province resigns

KATHMANDU, June 29: Bimala Kumari Khatri, State Minister for Health, Population and Family Welfare of Lumbini Province resigned from her post on Wednesday. Khatri, who has been dragged into controversies recently, submitted her resignation letter to Chief Minister Kul Prasad KC. Khatri was earlier detained by police after being accused of misbehavior with the spouse and daughter of Ekraj Basnet, a YCL leader, of Dang district.
