Netflix to execute new reality series 'Squid Game:The Challenge' with real life contestants
According to an announcement made on Tuesday, Netflix will bring about a real life Squid Game series claimed to be the biggest reality competition ever.
According to Variety, Netflix is suspending its services in Russia due to the country's invasion of Ukraine. "We have decided to suspend our service in Russia due to the circumstances on the ground," Netflix spokesperson Emily Feingold said in a statement.
Netflix announced last week that it would not comply with a new Russian law requiring large streaming platforms to host 20 Russian propaganda channels, including NTV and the state-run Channel One.
Netflix later announced that all productions and acquisitions in Russia would be halted, despite the fact that it was working on four Russian originals at the time. Netflix has around 1 million subscribers in Russia, according to Bloomberg.
