NC’s Dig Bahadur Limbu elected from Morang-1

MORANG: Dig Bahadur Limbu of Nepali Congress (NC) has been elected to the House of Representatives from Morang-1. He defeated CPN-UML candidate Ghanshyam Khatiwada. Dig Bahadur garnered 27,297 votes and Khatiwada got 26,867 votes.

KATHMANDU, May 3: President Ram Chandra Paudel has appointed three Ministers as per Clause 9 of Article 76 of the Constitution. President Paudel has appointed Dhanraj Gurung as the Minister of Law, Mohan Basnet as the Health Minister and Dig Bahadur Limbu as the Minister of Youth and Sports.
