SC full court today, CJ Rana to skip meeting

KATHMANDU, Jan 18: Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JB Rana has called a full court, the meeting participated by all the judges of the Supreme Court (SC), for Tuesday afternoon.  The meeting is being held in the wake of the onset of the third wave of COVID-19 triggered by the highly infectious Delta and Omicron variants in recent days.  Tuesday’s full court will take necessary decisions to arrange service delivery procedures amid the rising fears of COVID-19.  Judges and staff at various courts including the apex court contracted COVID-19 of late.  CJ Rana himself, however, will not participate in the meeting. He will authenticate the decisions taken by the meeting attended by other justices.
