KATHMANDU, Feb 13: Kamal Thapa, who quit the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) last week, is preparing to revive the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Nepal. “We are preparing to revive RPP Nepal which is already registered in the Election Commission,” a high-level RPP leader told Ratopati. The party, RPP Nepal, registered in the name of Lakpa Tamang, is now to be headed by Kamal Thapa. According to the source, both Thapa and Lakpa have already reached an agreement on it. Thapa quit the RPP on Tuesday and announced the formation of a new party.
