The meeting is likely to appoint the Inspector General of Police (IGP) of Nepal Police and Armed Police Force (APF).

KATHMANDU, Jan 20: As many as 1,038 security personnel have tested positive for the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
As of Wednesday, as many as 1,038 security personnel of Nepal Police, Nepal Army and Armed Police Force are in isolation.
Currently, as many as 221 personnel of the Armed Police Force have contracted the virus. Most of this security personnel were mobilized at border entry points.
Likewise, the number of COVID-19 infected personnel in the Nepali Police has reached 504, according to the Spokesperson for the Nepal Police, SSP Bishnu KC.
Similarly, as of Wednesday, as many as 313 personnel in the Nepal Army are in isolation after contracting the COVID-19.
The country on Wednesday witnessed the highest single-day rise of 11,352 new cases of COVID-19.
