PM Deuba calls NC parliamentary party meeting

KATHMANDU, July 17: The ruling Nepali Congress (NC) has called a meeting of the parliamentary party for Sunday afternoon.  A meeting has been summoned for 2 pm on Sunday in New Baneshwor, said NC Whip Puspa Bhusal. This is the first meeting of the Congress parliamentary party after Nepali Congress president and parliamentary party leader Sher Bahadur Deuba took the helm of the government on Tuesday, earlier this week.  According to Bhusal, the meeting will discuss the various issues ahead of the meeting of the House of Representatives(HoR) to be held at 4 pm on Sunday.  The meeting will also discuss other issues including PM Deuba’s confidence motion, effectiveness of the government and selection of ministers.
