KATHMANDU, March 15: Nepal and Saudi Arabia signed a ‘General Cooperation Agreement’ on Tuesday.
The agreement was signed amid a ministerial level meeting held earlier this morning at Singha Durbar-based Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Narayan Khadka signed the agreement on behalf of the Nepal Government. Likewise, on behalf of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud signed the agreement.
Saudi Prince Saud who arrived in Kathmandu on Monday is on his two day visit to Nepal.
Prince Saud is also scheduled to call on President Bidya Devi Bhandari and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on Tuesday.
