Three persons held for smuggling gold worth Rs 10 million
Police arrested three persons at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) for smuggling gold worth Rs 10 million by hiding the yellow metal in rectum. The police also seized 1 kg 155 gram gold and four iPhone sets.
A case has been registered against four individuals involved in smuggling gold using vape.

KATHMANDU, June 6: Police have arrested seven individuals on the charge of smuggling gold from the United Arab Emirates.
The smugglers were found wearing clothes coated with the gold.
The police had earlier received a tip-off that two individuals were traveling from the UAE wearing gold coated clothes, according to SSP Basanta Kuwar of Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Bureau.
These two individuals have been identified as Suresh Bahadur Shahi of Gulmi and Sandeep Chand Thakuri of Kapilvastu district and were arrested from the Tribhuvan International Airport.
Later on the basis of their statement, five other individuals were arrested. They have been identified as Nirmala Ghalan, 22, of Bara, Barun Bhakta Mathema (Rahul), 41, of Dhanusha, Lobsan Gyalsen, 27, a chinese national, Yubaraj Bhusal, 42, Nawalparasi and Aman Rajput, 51, an indian national.
