POKHARA, Dec 28: Mitra Lal Basyal, the senior-most member of the Gandaki Provincial Assembly, took the oath of office and secrecy on Wednesday. Gandaki Province Chief Prithvi Man Gurung administered the oath of office and secrecy to UML MP Basyal elected from Parbat Province Assembly 2.
KATHMANDU, Oct 12: Deepak Manange has been elected Gandaki Provincial Assembly member unopposed.
Deepak Manange was elected unopposed after Dorje Lama Gurung, an independent candidate, withdrew his candidacy.
Manange will now be declared winner after completing formalities.
The election of the federal and provincial level is scheduled for November 20 later this year.
