12 teachers injured in clash

MAHENDRANAGAR, August 20: Twelve teachers were hurt in a clash with police here today.  Teachers who were staging protest against the arbitrary decision of Bhimduttanagar Municipality in adjustment of teachers, were injured in the clash with police.   The dispute flared up when police tried to keep the tensed situation under control, following the demonstrations staged by the teachers.  According to Nepal Teachers Association, Kanchanpur secretary Navin Singh Dhami, the municipality failed to respond their concern for long as they have been staging protest for past 35 days.    He also shared that the injured teachers are undergoing treatment in Mahakali Provincial Hospital
