KATHMANDU, Aug 5: A meeting of the ruling alliance – Nepali Congress (NC), CPN (Maoist Center), CPN (Unified Socialist), Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) and Rastriya Janamorcha Party – is currently underway at Baluwatar, Kathmandu.
Key leaders of the coalition members along with other leaders are present at the meeting being held at the Prime Minister’s Office at Baluwatar.
This is the first meeting of the ruling alliance after the announcement of the general election date.
A Cabinet meeting held earlier on Thursday took a decision to hold the elections of federal and provincial level on November 20.
The meeting will mainly focus on strategy for seat sharing in the upcoming polls.

He moved to his residence in Baluwatar from Budhanilkanta this morning, according to the Prime Minister's Secretariat.
The outgoing Prime Minster KP Sharma Oli vacated the official residence of the Prime Minister on Wednesday and shifted to his private house after the appointment of Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba to the post of the Prime Minister.
