Snowfall occurs in Dasharath Chand, Jaya Prithvi highways

Spokesperson of District Police office Police Inspector Nandaraj Joshi said that snowfall has taken place in Khodpe, Anarkholi, Harichan, Dudilakhan, Dholyamode, Bithad and other areas. Vehicular movement along the highways was disrupted for some time on Thursday due to heavy snow.

Maoist Chair Prachanda pays tribute to martyrs

KATHMANDU, Jan 30: Chairperson of the CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has paid tribute to all the martyrs on the occasion of the Martyr's Day on Sunday. "I offer my condolence to entire martyrs including Shukraraj Shastri, Dasharath Chand, Dharma Bhakta Mathema and Gangalal Shrestha, who laid down their lives in course of the struggle against autocratic Rana regime," the former Prime Minister said in a message.  The day is being observed across the country today with various programs.
