PM's China visit: Emphasis laid on implementation of past agreements
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has held consultations with the experts and stakeholders ahead of his visit to the People's Republic of China.
With the signing of framework for Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) cooperation in Beijing during Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's China visit earlier in December, the political leaders of the ruling alliance, Nepali Congress and CPN (UML), scholars and stakeholders have said that BRI projects were crucial for Nepal's development and to materialize the aspirations of Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali.
Kathmandu, December 1 — Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has called a Cabinet meeting. The meeting has been convened in light of the upcoming visit to China.
A minister informed that the meeting is scheduled for Sunday afternoon at 5 PM at Baluwatar. The discussion will focus on the Prime Minister's visit to China and the agenda that Nepal has set for the trip.
During the visit, it is expected that agreements related to the implementation of Chinese projects under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) will be signed.
