India accepts Dr Sharma’s agreemo

KATHMANDU, March 16: India has formally accepted the nomination of Dr Shankar Sharma as the Ambassador of Nepal to India. After parliamentary hearing, the Foreign Ministry of Nepal had written to India for agreemo on December 10 last year. It took as many as 95 days for India to communicate the matter with Nepal. With this, Dr Sharma will now be officially appointed Ambassador of Nepal to India by President Bidya Devi Bhandari. Dr Sharma has already served as Ambassador of Nepal to the United States of America (USA).
