Kathmandu. The Rastriya Janamorcha has made its written position on constitutional amendments public, proposing the abolition of federalism in favor of a unitary system with decentralization. The proposal, signed by party chairman Chitra Bahadur KC, demands comprehensive changes ranging from state restructuring to issues of national identity.The proposal submitted by Janamorcha states that the federal system undermines ethnic and regional harmony and imposes an unsustainable economic burden on the country.
