Investigative committee recommends ANFA to sack  head coach of the Nepal men's national football team Al Mutairi

KATHMANDU, May 20: An investigative committee formed to investigate player-training disputes has recommended All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) to sack the head coach of Nepal men’s national football team Abdullah Al Mutairi from his post. Head Coach Al Mutairi and players involved in AFC Asian Cup Football training had disputes recently. Following the dispute, as many as 10 players had left the training session. The investigative committee has also maintained that the head coach Al Mutairi is also found keeping interest in the personal lives of players as well.

Rai submitted his resignation letter to ANFA President Karma Tsering Sherpa earlier in the day. Rai also organized a press meet at ANFA Complex to announce his resignation. He thanked everyone at ANFA for handing him the responsibility for the past three years. Rai will continue in his role as the Executive Member of ANFA and the Chairperson of ANFA's Information and Communication Committee
