KATHMANDU, Feb 1: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased the prices of diesel, petrol and kerosene.
The NOC has increased the prices of diesel, petrol and kerosene with effect from Tuesday midnight.
The price of diesel and kerosene has gone up to Rs 125 per liter and petrol to Rs 142 per liter. However, the price of LP gas remains unchanged, the NOC said.
The corporation has increased the price of domestic aviation fuel by Rs 10 per liter to make it Rs 116 a liter. The price of international aviation fuel has also been increased by USD 100 per kiloliter to USD 1,095.
Nearly two weeks after the previous increase, the government once again has hiked the prices of petroleum products including petrol, diesel and cooking gas.

KATHMANDU, November 11: The government has hiked the price of fuel with effect from Wednesday midnight. Accordingly, petrol, diesel and kerosene prices have been increased by Rs 3 per litre.
The meeting of the Nepal Oil Corporation Board of Directors held on Wednesday decided to increase the price of petrol, diesel, kerosene and aviation fuel as well as of cooking gas.
The price of cooking LP gas has been increased by Rs 75 per cylinder to Rs 1,575.
With this decision in effect, petrol will now cost Rs 136 per liter while the price of diesel and kerosene climbs to Rs 119 per litre. Price of domestic aviation fuel has been increased by Rs. 5 per litre to make it Rs 101 per litre. The price of aviation fuel for international flights has reached USD 895 per kilolitre, according to a statement issued by the corporation's co-spokesperson Puskar Karki.
Even after the adjusted price, the NOC will incur a loss of Rs 2.62 billion in 15 days, the release said. Prior to this, the price of fuel had been increased on October 29.
