KATHMANDU, Dec 17: The Department of Transport Management (DoTM) is in a state of confusion regarding the fixation of fares for electricity-driven public transport vehicles.
Bagmati Province Government has adjusted the fares of public vehicles moving from one municipality to another. After the price hike of petroleum products, the provincial government has increased the fares of public vehicles.
After the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) raised fuel prices on August 16, the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Transport Management of Bagmati Province has announced hike in fares of public vehicles operating in the province, including taxis.

KATHMANDU, July 24: The government of Bagmati Province has increased the fares of public transport running in the province including in the Kathmandu Valley. The Bagmati Province Labor, Employment and Transport Minister's decision on July 2 decided to increase the fare of public vehicles running in Bagmati Province by 8.39 percent.
