Western Low-Pressure System Affects Nepal, Bringing Fog and Potential Snowfall in High Mountains

Kathmandu. Currently, a western low-pressure system is influencing the western parts of Nepal.Fog has enveloped a few areas in the Terai region. Generally cloudy conditions prevail in the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, with light snowfall/rain occurring in one or two places. Koshi and Madhesh provinces are experiencing partial cloudiness. On Monday, haze/fog will persist in some parts of the Terai region.
