Over 130,000 Votes Declared Invalid in Koshi Province Federal Elections

Morang. A total of 130,847 votes were declared invalid in the House of Representatives election held in Koshi Province on Falgun 21.According to information provided by the Provincial Election Office, Biratnagar, out of 2,084,219 votes cast across 28 constituencies in the province's 14 districts, 1,953,372 votes were deemed valid. The number of invalid votes in the election were: Taplejung 2,686, Panchthar 3,897, Ilam-1 4,566, Ilam-2 3,895, Jhapa-1 4,269, Jhapa-2 4,469, Jhapa-3 5,629, Jhapa-4 4,768, and Jhapa-5 4,219.Similarly, invalid votes were recorded as: Sankhuwasabha 3,780, Tehrathum 1,909, Bhojpur 3,871, and Dhankuta 4,883.
