KATHMANDU, July 8: Speaker of the lower house, Agni Prasad Sapkota has summoned a meeting of the parliamentary committee formed to investigate charges imposed against the outgoing Finance Minister Janardan Sharma. “The meeting is scheduled for 1 PM today,” Sarala Kumari Yadav, lawmaker of CPN (United Socialist) told Ratopati. An 11-member parliamentary committee was formed to probe involvement of unofficial personnel in the budget formulation process two days ago. Following the formation of the committee, Finance Minister Sharma had resigned from his post.
