Top leaders meeting re-scheduled for today

The meeting of the top leaders of the ruling five parties scheduled for Friday has been rescheduled for Saturday. The meeting of Friday was expected to finalise the seat sharing issue. However, the meeting was postponed because of the busy schedule of the top leaders of the ruling parties. The five ruling parties which have decided to contest the November 20 elections to the House of Representatives and Provincial Assemblies by forging an electoral alliance have been holding series of meeting to divide the seats of the House of Representatives and Provincial Assemblies among them. On Friday, Prime Minister and Nepali Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN-Maoist Centre chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, CPN (Unified Socialist) chair Madhav Kumar Nepal and Janata Samajwadi Party-Nepal chair Upedendra Yadav were busy attending the party functions outside the valley.
