KATHMANDU, Feb 16: The Millennium Corporate Challenge (MCC) is not to be tabled in the meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) on Wednesday.
In what seemed like the final effort of Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Chairman of CPN (Maosit Center), to avoid the tabling of the Millennium Corporate Challenge (MCC) in parliament, Dahal held a meeting with Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba just after the party's parliamentary party meeting and the two leaders reached an agreement not to table the MCC in Wednesday’s parliament meeting.
The Maoist Center was all set to withdraw its support to the PM Deuba-led government, if the MCC was tabled in today’s meeting.
