KATHMANDU, July 15: The communications and transport expenses of the technicians, deputed in the reconstruction of private houses through National Reconstruction Authority (NRA), have been released.
According to the NRA, remaining amount of Rs 83.4 million that has to be provided to the technicians, mobilized in the 32 earthquake-affected districts, was released. As informed, the technicians have yet to be provided the entitled amount since mid-July last year.
The Ministry of Finance has released the communications and transportation expenditure that has put on hold since long. A memorandum of understanding was made on June 27 to provide the expenditure the technicians are entitled to get as per the rule. A meeting of the direction committee on June 24 had decided to provide the technicians with communications and transportation expenses.
National Reconstruction Authority (NRA) made the master plan of Greater Tundikhel public. As per the plan, the project will cover the area from Narayanhiti Palace to Dasharath Stadium.
Likewise, the reconstruction authority enlisted 35,709 complainants as non-beneficiaries. Remaining grievances would be further analyzed and its results would be made public, said the NRA sources.
