EU backs small parcel duties to tackle China import flood

Kathmandu, Nov 13: The Supreme Court has denied recognition to the Janaswaraj Party, a group split from Janamat Party.A full bench comprising senior most justice Sapana Pradhan Malla, judges Sunil Kumar Pokhrel and Meghraj Pokharel denied recognition to Janaswaraj as a political party.The judges invoked the provision of Political Party (2nd Amendment) Ordinance, 2078; Amendment to the Political Party Division, 2074.An ordinance was brought to amend the Act Relating to Political Party but it’s the ordinance itself was rendered ineffective.
