Annapurna glacier emerging as a popular tourist destination
A beautiful glacier located in the northern base camp of 8,091-metre tall Mt. Annapurna at Narchang in Annapurna Rural Municipality-4, has, of late, emerged as a popular tourist destination.
Both tourists and locals have been bearing the brunt of obstruction to the Ghodepani roadway in Annapurna rural municipality-6. Ghodepani is a famous tourist destination in Nepal.
Tourists have been prohibited from taking drinking water to Ghodepani, a renowned tourist destination situated in Annapurna Rural Municipality-6 in Myagdi district.
Over 12,000 foreign tourists have visited Ghodepani-Punhill, a renowned tourist destination along the Annapurna circuit in Myagdi district, in the past four and a half months.
Khopra Lake was once full of buffalo herds. As there is flat green land on the top of the hill, the locals of Annapurna Rural Municipality-5 in Paudwar used to take buffalo herds once a year to graze in the area. Khopra Lake, which was once full of buffalo sheds, is now full of tourists. Since 1995, tourists have started visiting the area. This place emerged as a tourist spot in 1996. The number of tourists has increased since then. Khopra Lake is the choice of foreign as well as domestic tourists.
