KATHMANDU, May 9: Prime Minister (PM) Sher Bahadur Deuba has maintained that Chairman of CPN-UML, KP Sharma Oli will dissolve the local level government as well if the UML wins the local level election.
Addressing a public gathering of the ruling alliance at Dhangadhi on Monday, PM Deuba said that if Oli can dissolve the federal parliament then he can surely do the same for the local government.
“KP Oli dissolved parliament twice unconstitutionally. What do you want to get after making UML win? Parliament dissolution?,” Deuba questioned.
PM Deuba also maintained that to let UML win is to give a mandate to dissolve parliament and government.
Besides, PM Deuba said that the government will give a top most priority to Sudurpaschim Province during budget allocation for infrastructural development.
Likewise, Deuba also urged the rebel candidates of the alliance to withdraw their candidacy, issuing a press statement or face action.
