PM Deuba summons Cabinet meeting

KATHMANDU, July 15: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has called a Cabinet meeting for 2PM on Thursday.  According to government spokesperson Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, who is also the Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, the meeting will be held at the Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers (OPMCM).  Thursday’s meeting is expected to take some significant decisions, according to the sources.  The Deuba-led Cabinet has five members -- Bal Krishna Khand (Minister for Home Affairs), Gyanendra Bahadur Karki (Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs), Janardan Sharma (Minister for Finance) and Pampha Bhusal (Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation) along with Deuba himself.
