UML sacks 11 leaders of Khanal-Nepal faction including Madhav Kumar Nepal from party membership

KATHMANDU, May 24: CPN-UML has expelled 11 leaders including senior leaders duo Jhala Nath Khanal and Madhav Kumar Nepal from the party.  A Standing Committee meeting held in Baluwatar on Monday expelled 11 leaders. They earlier sought clarifications as they joined the opposition alliance led by Nepali Congress President, Sher Bahadur Deuba while claiming for a new government formation on May 21.  The meeting  sack Madhav Kumar Nepal, Jhala Nath Khanal, Bhim Rawal, Mukunda Neupane, Ram Kumari Jhakri, Kalyani Khadka, Sarala Yadav, Pushpa Karna, Laxmi Chaudhary, Kalila Khatun and Nira Jairu  even as the party’s ordinary member.
