One-Month Purushottam Maas Mela Begins at Machhenarayan Temple

Kathmandu. A one-month Purushottam Maas or Adhik Maas Mela has started from today at Machhenarayan Temple located in Machechagaun (Matsyagaun) of Kathmandu. This Mela, known as 'Malmas Mela', attracts millions of devotees from Kathmandu Valley and across the country.According to religious beliefs, worshipping Lord Narayan during Purushottam Maas is believed to destroy all sins and attain merit.
