So far, Renu Dahal has secured 37,468 votes maintaining a lead of 8,154 votes over her nearest contender. Meanwhile, Bijay Subedi of CPN-UML has secured second position garnering 29,314 votes. Likewise, Jagannath Poudel, a rebel candidate of Nepali Congress has collected 12,359 votes.

More than 55,000 votes counted in Bharatpur

In Bharatpur Metropolitan City, 55 thousand 680 votes have been counted. In Bharatpur, one lakh 27 thousand 839 votes were cast

1,000 votes: Balen garners 480 votes, NC, UML candidates lags behind

KATHMANDU, May 14: Of the 1,000 votes counted so far, an independent candidate for the post of mayor of Kathmandu metropolis, Balen Shah garnered 480 votes. Likewise, Keshav Sthapit, UML’s candidate, collected 200 votes while Srijana Singh, Nepali Congress’s candidate got 280 votes.

Of 200 votes counted so far, NC candidate Maharjan garners 110 votes

KATHMANDU, May 14: Of 200 votes counted in Lalitpur Metropolitan City, Chiri Babu Maharjan, Nepali Congress’s candidate for the post of mayor has garnered 110 votes.  While Maharjan garnered 110 votes, his nearest contender Hari Krishna Byanjankar, UML’s candidate, has collected only 47 votes.  Likewise, of the total votes counted so far, three were invalid.
